Firefighter

Dr Sabrina Cohen-Hatton is one of the most senior female fire officers in the world.

Homeless at 15, she survived on the streets after losing her father and being abandoned by the system. She taught herself to survive—and later, to lead.

Now Chief Fire Officer of Hampshire & Isle of Wight, she was the first woman to hold the same role in West Sussex. Her frontline experience includes the Westminster and Finsbury Park terror attacks and Grenfell.

She earned a PhD in Behavioural Neuroscience and is an expert in decision-making under pressure. Sabrina also serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at Cardiff University.

She champions social mobility, supports The Big Issue, Street Vet, and Prince William’s Homewards initiative. She’s a best-selling author and has been recognised as a Top 100 Changemaker and recipient of the King’s Fire Service Medal.
